Dr. Marie Tholl-Pappas
Dr. Marie Tholl-Pappas, DC, Board Eligible Chiropractic Internist, is a 2009 graduate from Logan College of Chiropractic. Here she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She also attended Governor’s State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. While attending Logan College, Dr. Tholl-Pappas was very involved. She served as President of the Student Doctors’ Council, tutored Spinal Anatomy, was a Clinical Assistant, and served on several Committees. Upon graduation, several awards were presented to her, including the Presidential Award, Health Center Clinician Assistant Award, Health Center Consultant Award, and Student Services Department Award. Dr. Tholl-Pappas served on the President’s Young Advisor Committee for Logan College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Tholl-Pappas has taken additional coursework and specializes in the areas of Women’s Health, Internal Medicine, Pregnancy, Pediatrics, Nutrition, Acupuncture, TMJ (Jaw) Dysfunction and Orofacial (mouth and face) care, and Orthotic Fitting. Dr. Tholl-Pappas is a Board Eligible Chiropractic Internist and is pursuing her Diplomate and Board Certification of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI). She is also pursuing post doctoral degrees through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA) to receive her Diplomate from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (DACCP). Dr. Tholl-Pappas strives to provide the best personalized care for each of her patients.
Dr. Tholl-Pappas is involved with multiple charities. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. Dr. Tholl-Pappas is serving her second term as President of the LWAWBO (Lincoln Way Area Women’s Business Organization), and is the Secretary/Treasurer for her local BNI (Business Network International) Chapter. Her goal is to educate the community on ways to live a healthy lifestyle.
Personally, Dr. Tholl-Pappas enjoys spending time with her daughter, Marie, and husband, Dr. Dino Pappas, and their two rescue dogs, Zoe and Zia. She hopes to one day own an animal rescue and encourage others to rescue animals too. Dr. Tholl-Pappas also enjoys walking her dogs, yoga, swimming, rollerblading and adventure activities such as skydiving and white water rafting.
