Dr. Dino Pappas
Dr. Dino Pappas, DC, MS, ATC, CSCS, cert MDT, FMS – Level 1, CKTP, KAS, is a 2009 honors graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. He has received a masters degree in kinesiology with athletic training specialization from Indiana University-Bloomington & a bachelors degree in kinesiology with athletic training specialization from the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana. The doctor is a licensed chiropractic physician, certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has postgraduate training in sports medicine, rehabilitation, acupuncture, nutrition, TMJ (Jaw) and orofacial (mouth & face) care, kinesiotaping, Graston Technique, Active Release Techniques (ART®), orthotic fabrication, the McKenzie Method, the Functional Movement Screens and analysis & treatment of foot and ankle injuries. He has helped children, adults and geriatrics with their health concerns. He has also helped athletes at all levels from professional to recreational.
The doctor’s goal is to provide comprehensive, conservative care to the south suburbs of Chicago. Comprehensive conservative care is the treatment of injuries, ailments and disease without the use of drugs and surgery. The doctor is a firm believer in integrated medicine. Integrated medicine blends the talents of different specialists in achieving high quality, affordable patient care. The doctor’s motto is, “Why Put Off Feeling Good?” The doctor currently practices out of The Center for Integrated Medicine – CIM, LLC in Tinley Park, IL.
On a personal note, the doctor is an avid runner having completed 4 marathons (2 Chicago Marathons, Big Sur & Rock & Roll San Diego Marathon) and 2 half marathons (2 Chicago Half Marathons). He is also an aspiring triathlete with a goal of completing the Hawaii Iron Man Triathlon within the next 10 years. He also has aspirations of completing the Lake Tahoe Century Ride (100 Mile Bike Ride), competing in the World Marathon Majors (New York, Boston, London & Berlin), completing the original marathon (Athens Marathon), climbing Mt. Kiliminjaro (Kenya), climbing to Mt. Everest Base Camp, obtaining a pilot’s license, driving a NASCAR and becoming a team chiropractor & athletic trainer for the Unites States Olympic Team. He enjoys adventure travel with plans on an African safari, backpacking through Europe, snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, walking stretches of the Great Wall in China, and attending Octoberfest in Germany. He remains active with local charities. He enjoys working with patients so they can enjoy their life to the fullest extent. He also enjoys working with athletes to achieve their fitness and performance goals.
