The Big Toe

On November 15, 2016, in Pain, by Dr. Dino Pappas

The big toe is critical for lower 1/4 (foot, ankle, shin, knee, hip, pelvis and low back) function. It’s a linchpin for one of the fundamental human movements (upright walking). Without the big toe, think traumatic amputation, you’d have a good chance for falling over.  The big toe is that critical for balance!  The big toe also delicately balances mobility with stability. It’s kinda, sorta a BIG DEAL!  Take a look at our video for more info.  Questions?  Want to get that big toe or lower 1/4 assessed?
